Go to the Lac de Schoenau campsite

The campsite is located at the south-eastern end of the Bas-Rhin département, on the border with Germany.

GPS coordinates: 48.2447° N / 7.6921° E

By bike :

  • From Strasbourg (45 km): take the Rhone-Rhine canal (Eurovélo 15) to Sundhouse, then continue along the cycle paths.
  • From Sélestat (20 km): recommended cycle route via Muttersholtz, Wittisheim and Sundhouse.
  • From Marckolsheim (13 km) and Germany: route via the Tulla dam

By train and bus :

  • Nearest train station: Sélestat (22 km away), then bus to Baldenheim and transport on demand to Schoenau with the Elsa network (https://elsa-mobilites.fr/) or car Rental
  • The campsite can be reached by bike (cycle paths accessible from the station). Recommended cycle route via Muttersholtz, Wittisheim and Sundhouse.

By car :

  • From Strasbourg: approx. 1 hour via A35 towards Sélestat, then towards Sundhouse / Schoenau
  • From Colmar: about 45 min via D424
  • Free on-site parking

By plane :

  • Strasbourg-Entzheim airport 55 km
  • EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg 90 km away
