Our campsite has direct access to Lac de Schoenau in the Bas-Rhin region of France, a haven of peace for lovers of water sports and swimming. With its clear waters and private beach, you can relax in complete tranquillity, enjoy a supervised swim during the high season, or simply admire the view from your Pitch.
Hiking trails border the lake for peaceful strolls. In summer, the refreshment bar and snack bar extend your moments of relaxation. Camping in Alsace is the ideal place to reconnect with nature, with your feet in the water.

Our campsite in Alsace makes every effort to provide a comfortable stay for cycling enthusiasts. Thanks to our ideal location, you have access to numerous cycling routes suitable for all levels, including the nearby Eurovélo 15. You can leave the car behind and do it all by bike! Family services and activities at the Bas-Rhin campsite
Designed with the whole family in mind, Lac de Schoenau offers a wide range of services and activities in the Bas-Rhin to enhance your stay. Young and old alike will be delighted by the volleyball court, pétanque, swings and summer activities (electric scooter rides, mini-golf, birdwatching…). A snack bar and bar are open from Tuesday to Sunday, offering a variety of themed meals to enjoy on the terrace or to take away. There’s also a local grocery store, Chez Nadège, where you can do some local shopping. A few steps from the campsite, let yourself be enchanted by simple, local cuisine in an intimate setting at the L’EnVol restaurant: a fabulous blend of simplicity and gastronomy.

01 Is swimming at the lake supervised?
Swimming is open and supervised from July 1 to August 31, Tuesday to Sunday, from 12pm to 2:30pm and from 3pm to 6pm. Outside this period and opening hours, bathing is under the full responsibility of bathers and at their own risk.
02 Are dogs allowed on the campsite?
Dogs are allowed on the campsite premises. They must be kept on a leash and under the supervision of their master. Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
03 What types of accommodation are available for rental at the campsite?
For the 2026 season, the campsite offers 35 leisure rentals for tents, vans and motorhomes. The motorhome area, located on the campsite grounds, has 31 spaces. The campsite is currently undergoing development, and will be offering other types of rental accommodation (pods, mobile homes, unusual accommodation) in the coming years.

04can i rent a Pitch year-round?
Year-round Pitch Rental is not available. The site is open from April 1 to October 31. Outside this period, the campsite is closed to the public.
05 Are Sanitary facilities available to all campers?
Sanitary facilities are accessible to all campers and include showers and WCs. They are regularly maintained to ensure cleanliness, and are accessible 24 hours a day.
